About
Andrew is a Midwest-based singer-songwriter whose music feels like a conversation with an old friend—honest, heartfelt, and deeply relatable. Inspired by artists like John Mayer, KT Tunstall, Jason Mraz, and Jack Johnson, Andrew blends introspective lyrics with breezy, melodic hooks that capture moments of nostalgia and hope. His style has been likened to artists like mxmtoon and Zach Seabaugh, offering a mix of soulful storytelling and modern, approachable vibes.
Originally from Iowa, Andrew’s path to music started in the classroom, teaching K-5 vocal music in Ankeny. Those five years shaped not only his love for connecting with others but also the authenticity and warmth that shine through in his songwriting. Ultimately, he stepped away from teaching to pursue his true passion: sharing his music with the world.
Andrew has performed on some incredible stages, from opening for AJR at Wells Fargo Arena in front of 5,000 fans to playing an intimate, sold-out show in Chicago. His music—whether it’s the dreamy “Kind of Paradise” or the reflective, beachy vibes of “Postcard”—is known for its dynamic instrumentation and honest lyrics that invite listeners into his world.
Currently, Andrew is collaborating with Nashville producer Lucas Morton on a new EP set to release on April 25, 2025. Featuring ukulele-driven rhythms, lush arrangements, and a thoughtful mix of sounds, this project continues to evolve his artistry while staying true to his roots.
Offstage, Andrew loves sharing his passion for music through workshops, like teaching ukulele at Hoyt Sherman Place, and connecting with new audiences at colleges and festivals. With dreams of performing worldwide and making a living solely through his music, Andrew is focused on building a team and creating opportunities to grow his career.
Whether he’s on a big stage, at a small venue, or hosting a workshop, Andrew’s music is about connection—taking listeners on a journey of reflection, joy, and inspiration.
